Bill Mauldin's autobiography from life as a youngster, to a budding political cartoonist, to his lasting fame as a war cartoonist, during World War II, earning the ire of General George S. Patton, and the applause of other Generals as a morale builder. After the war he became an editorial cartoonist for the Chicago News Times, and also covering two more wars, Korea and Vietnam. During his career he has won many professional awards including two Pulitzer Prizes. DJ has small nicks top/bottom. (Ref. #ACC-G29).
